Established by former executives of some of the nation’s leading financial services institutions, North Inlet offers specialized consulting and advisory services in such areas as acquisition strategies and transactions, joint ventures, corporate finance, restructuring and other complex transactions. Kcomm partnered with the company in the creation of their new corporate website, with the challenge of communicating highly detailed and complicated information in an accessible, consumer-friendly way.

We looked beyond the numbers and jargon to find the human element at the heart of the North Inlet brand. The company is named for the inlet between two islands on the waterway near Charleston, South Carolina. Not only is this a favorite spot of one of the North Inlet founders, it also provides a perfect metaphor for the company’s specialized offerings. The inlet is scenic and peaceful, but its ever-shifting currents and channels demand careful navigation from those who seek to pass.

Navigation became the theme for the new North Inlet website, with beautiful nature photography and vintage mariner map graphics providing the look and feel, giving emotional weight to the message about the company’s ability to safely and expertly guide clients through even the most difficult or tumultuous business situations.
