MARTY KELSO,

Partner/Creative Director

With roots in film and broadcast writing, Marty has two decades of experience helping consumer and business-to-business clients establish their brands and refine their voices. He graduated from the College of William & Mary in Virginia and moved to Los Angeles in the late 1980s. Marty worked in script development with producer-director Mark Lester (Commando), and with Ted Turner and Jane Fonda on movies for Turner Network Television, including the Pierce Brosnan period drama The Broken Chain.

Preferring to raise his family in the Southeast, Marty transitioned to the advertising world. He progressed as an agency copywriter and creative director in Charlotte, with the opportunity to write and produce award-winning campaigns and national broadcast efforts featuring the likes of Charlie Sheen, Jessica Lange and Dale Earnhardt, Jr.

Marty’s diverse client roster crosses many industries and includes Bank of America, Mars/M&Ms, Mass Mutual Life Insurance Company, Baskin-Robbins, Irwin Tools and BB&T. He is the recipient of numerous Addy Awards, has been profiled in the One Show Showcase and in Adweek, and was nominated for an Emmy award for writing.
